Blog comment spam has always been a problem as if you have a blog, a spammer is going to come along soon enough and try to promote their product or services. I have been quite happy so far with the services of Akismet as an effective plugin to stop the spam dead in its tracks.

I was just reading the WordPress Blog that it is the 5th birthday of WordPress. I for one say happy birthday as all my blogs are powered by WordPress and i wouldn’t have it any other way!

Something New
I am trying out ScribeFire to post to my blogs. Its a little different to what i am used to but its great having it integrated into Firefox to save having to opening up another client or even the blog’s post page.
Think i will keep it!
Oh Spam
I just logged in to this blog and i know that its made it with a bundle of spam comments just waiting to be ignored and automatically deleted after 30 days.
