Sounds Painful
It is amazing some of the conversations that come up at work, Today it was a particularly unusual turn of conversation with the description given of “An Interesting Story about an Asian Chick doing a world record gang bang”. Details beyond that were kind of vague and being the helpful person that i am I suggested they use google to find more information. As usual they failed to listen to me which is just as well, last thing i wanted was them getting in trouble looking up porn.
Now with the hindsight and of course the use of Wikipedia I am thininhg that she meant The World’s Biggest Gang Bang with Annabel Chong in the … errr … drivers seat. According to Wikipedia she became famous for engaging in 251 sex acts with about 70 men over a ten-hour period in January 1995, setting a world record, with the resulting footage being packaged as The World’s Biggest Gang Bang. Now thats class!
So I pondered why would anyone would want to be in a gang bang:
Chong presented her work in pornography as an attempt to challenge the settled notions and assumptions of viewers about female sexuality. For example, her conception of a gangbang was based on the example of Messalina, a wife of the emperor Claudius. Historically, Messalina has suffered a poor reputation, a fact that some attribute (at least partly) to gender bias. Chong sought to question the double standard that denies women the ability to exhibit the same sexuality as men, by modelling what a female “stud” would be.
Um right. 70 men and 251 sex acts. Not sure i get where its feminism message from. Slutty maybe. Sounds painful too.
