Goodbye, don’t let the door hit you.
Well it was an eventful kind of day here in my home state with some good news that the Premier Paul Lennon has retired from parliament and public life.
On reflection i am thinking that the biggest reason i am happy to see the back of Paul Lennon is that if it didn’t suit him then he was happy to rude roughshot over due process and laws. The approval process for Gunns Tamar Valley pulp mill was the biggest example of this with laws passed to overide the independant authority assessing the mill.
Hopefully the new premier David Bartlett will do a better job and play by the rules.
