Fortunately Distracted
I had a strange conversation yesterday that i thought was worth remembering to blog about. I was having a conversation with a gay guy and he mentioned that he wanted an invitation to my wedding.
Say what
Wedding? This is a bit of a suprise because not only am i single but i don’t get past visiting the online dating sites and i don’t get past looking at the pictures. Certainly not to the stage of actually having my profile visible for someone to actually look at it. No that is just not going to happen!
It seems that he was not willing to take no for an answer that there was not anyone in my life that i was likely to be marrying anytime soon. I think he had it fixed in his head that i was going to be marrying and having the little kids pop out to be running around as Greg juniors or something.
Luckily i came up with a solution and suggested that he had missed his calling, that he would make an ideal wedding planner, no wait weddings are too small, an EVENT planner is where his calling lay. He seemed happy with that and more importantly was distracted from the whole me getting married any time soon!
