Anzac Day
My day started early today when i headed to the Dawn Anzac Day ceremony. I feel the dawn service has so much more meaning than the later ceremony and parade. It was pleasing to see that the ceremony well attended too.
We were lucky with the weather, the morning was fine and a little overcast but by tonight it is raining which would have made it a little uncomfortable.
Other than i was just reflecting on how nice it was to no longer be in the army, it meant i didn’t have to actually take part in a dawn ceremony somewhere. And even better, I could come straight home and go back to bed (after i blogged about it anyway!)
