Back on the Hustle
Happy days are here again, at least in the land of dvds and me. I happened to notice that series two of Hustle was out in the stores and had to snatch it for myself. For those that haven’t heard of it is in the style of Oceans 11 and Confidence with the criminals conning their deserving victim out of their ill gotten gains. Unlike the others, it is a British.
Overall its an enjoyable show to watch although a little disconcerting. Once in a while the characters turn to camera and speak to the audience explaining what has happening or perhaps letting a little bit of an inside perspective or stop time and look at something and explain it from their perspective.. There one episode in the first series where two of the characters even did a music number. It can seem a little odd at first but is actually very effective.
The only thing is, i have to make it last rather than like last time i sat down and watched all the episodes at once.
