Well that is sunday almost done and it has been a busy one. Since it was another beautiful autumn day i decided again that a day trip was in order and meandered my way to Port Arthur.
For those that don’t know, Port Arthur is a former penal colony where convicts were transported from England and served out their sentence in what was then Van Diemens land. Much of Port Arthur is now ruins but there are still some buildings in good order and i took my time wandering around them in the sunshine.
Afterwards it was home, although not quickly. What is it about people driving well below the speed limit and not pulling over once in a while? Its a crap road for much of the journey and little opportunity for over taking.
